We break the mold of the traditional stage. Our performances let you close the door on the outside world for a while. Our work reminds us what it means to be human. Who We Are
Heart Theatre operates as a nonprofit production company. Stacy Whittle and Felipe Benítez started our company to bring more joy to the world. We collaborate with incredible people to ensure our work reaches you, no matter where you are around the world. In addition to traveling, our team experiments with emerging technology to provide access to people who spend time in virtual spaces. We don't care where you are. We just want to bring you joy.
What We Do
We create productions that leave a smile on your face. Our work will make you laugh, think, and love. It’s as simple as that. Every project must pass one test: the audience feels more hopeful after the show. Our shows provide fun. Every show grows from joy. Love and unity drive our process.
Why We Do It
The world can feel overwhelming, and it is easy to feel powerless in the face of it all. We believe joy is the answer. Not as an escape, but as a force.
Joy is what lifts us out of fear and back into love. When you feel joy, you regain access to hope and to optimism. You remember that we have more in common than we have dividing us. And as this shift happens one person at a time, one performance at a time, it ripples outward into homes, into communities, and into the world. That is how humanity rises.
